Junctions not nailed off, brackets not installed
Three connections that a lining hides forever.

Wall junctions
Where two frames meet they have to be fixed to each other, or the corner is two independent walls standing beside one another. We recorded junctions not nailed off, twice.
Slotted brackets
They fix a non load bearing wall to the structure above while letting the roof move as it loads and unloads. Missing, the wall either takes load it was never sized for or is not held at the top at all.
Truss boots
A connector tying the truss to its support. Not installed, that connection falls back on nails for a load the design gave to a bracket.
What they share
All three are connections, all three are behind a lining within a fortnight, and none of them changes the way anything looks.
Where they were recorded
On a frame inspection in Oran Park, four kilometres from Gledswood Hills and under the same council. The captions say so.
